I am interested in eyelid surgery because I have deep wrinkles under my eyes that bother me. Can I do this operation if I am not over 40 and is there any reason why it would be better to wait? Thanks in advance!

Eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, is usually performed to remove skin folds, fat and wrinkles around the eyes. Although it is most often associated with people over the age of 40, there is no strict rule that prohibits performing this operation before the age of 40, if there is a clearly defined problem, such as deep wrinkles or sagging skin under the eyes.
If you have deep wrinkles that are not related to excess skin or fatty deposits, it may be useful to consider other options such as dermal filler treatments or laser treatments, which can improve the appearance of wrinkles without the need for surgery.
However, if your eyelid problems are more serious and cause discomfort or loss of fresh appearance, blepharoplasty can be an excellent option.
