Lumpy and deformed ear
Question asked: - 29. 08. 2024
My son has a clamped right eardrum which is also deformed, irregularly shaped and larger than the left. I am familiar with the fact that clumsiness can be surgically corrected, but I am wondering if the irregular shape of both ears can be corrected as well?

Yes, clamping and deformities in the šsšsšs can be successfully corrected surgically, and the results are usually very satisfactory. In your case , if both ears are irregularly shaped, surgery may include correction of both the clumsiness and the irregular shape of both ears, in order to achieve a symmetrical and natural appearance.
Corrective ear surgery, known as otoplasty, involves modifying the cartilage of the ear to shape it into the desired shape and size. In the event that both ears are deformed, the operation may include the correction of their size, position, and shape.
