Implant removal and breast lift
Question asked: - 26. 06. 2024
I have had implants for five years and now I would like to have them removed. I would also like to have a breast lift performed at the same time. Is there a new technique that replaces traditional incisions around the nipple?

Good day! If you want to remove the implants and perform a breast lift at the same time, there are several options that can reduce the visibility of the scars. Traditional incisions used in a breast lift often include an incision around the nipple and a vertical incision that goes toward the bottom of the breast, or a reverse T incision that extends along the base of the breast. However, modern breast lift techniques, such as cutting below the fold of the breast (inframammary incision), can reduce the need for large scars and place the breasts in a natural position without the need for long scars. Also, in some cases, we use techniques that allow the scars to be smaller and even almost invisible, while still achieving the desired result.
