I am interested in replacing the current implants with larger ones. Is it always necessary to make large incisions when removing existing and placing new implants? Can the implant be removed without cutting around the areola? Also, is it possible to perform this procedure in your clinic?

Dear patient,
Replacing the implant with a larger one is possible, and in most cases, if the previous implants were placed through the same incision, they can be removed without the need for additional incisions around the areola. In many cases, the incision can be made through an existing incision, either under the breast or around the areola, thus minimizing the additional visibility of the scars. Depending on your wishes and current situation, it is possible to adapt the approach to be as less invasive as possible.
