Good day! I am 33 years old and I am planning to have otoplasty. What are the possible complications and risks, and what should I expect in the postoperative period?

As with any surgery, otoplasty carries certain risks, although serious complications are very rare. Possible complications include infection, bleeding, swelling and bruising, as well as temporary changes in skin sensation. In rare cases, a correction of the results is required. The postoperative period includes mild pain and swelling, which usually subsides in a few days. Despite these possible risks, the operation is very safe, and complications can usually be successfully resolved.
