I am 28 years old and I have been thinking about nose surgery for a long time because I am not satisfied with its shape. Is the recovery after the procedure difficult and how long does the swelling last?

Recovery after nose surgery is usually not too difficult, but it may require some patience. The swelling is most pronounced in the first days after the procedure, and then gradually decreases during the next 1-2 weeks. Bruises and swelling usually disappear during this period, while the final result will be visible after a few months, when all minor swellings have subsided. It is recommended to rest in the first few days, and to avoid physical exertion and blows to the nose for several weeks in order to make the recovery faster and safer.
