I had eyelid surgery seven days ago, and since I'm older, I'm wondering when I can expect the swelling to go away and when I'll be ready to go back to my daily activities?</p style="text-align: justify;"> p>

Swelling after eyelid surgery usually starts to go away in the first 7-10 days, but in some cases it can take up to 2 weeks, especially if you are older. I recommend that you avoid strenuous physical activities and rest during that period. Most patients can return to their daily activities after 10-14 days, but avoid exertion, sunbathing and strenuous physical exercise još some time. For best results, follow the instructions for post-operative care and come for regular check-ups.
