There are two main types of implants – silicone and saline (salines). Silicone implants are the most popular because of their more natural look and feel. Saline implants are filled with saline solution and are usually used when silicone implants cannot be used.

Recovery varies from person to person, but generally takes about 1-2 weeks for basic activities. It is recommended to avoid strenuous physical activities and lifting heavy objects for at least 4-6 weeks.

As with any surgery, complications such as infections, bleeding, scarring, changes in the shape or size of the implant, and capsular contraction (when the capsule that forms around the implant thickens) are possible.

Over time, implants may change shape due to aging or physical changes in the body, but this does not necessarily mean that they will look bad. Regular check-ups with a doctor are important in order to monitor the condition of the implant.

Implants are designed to last a long time, but they are not forever. The average life of an implant is 10-15 years, after which it may need to be replaced.

The operation is usually performed under general anesthesia, which means that you will be completely asleep during the procedure. In some cases, local anesthesia with sedation can be used, but this is less common.

Yes, factors such as age, weight, skin, and post-operative care can affect the final result. It is recommended that you prepare well and follow your doctor's instructions in order to achieve the best possible result.

Yes, pregnancy and breastfeeding can change the appearance of your breasts, even if you previously had breast augmentation. Implants will not prevent these changes, but they can preserve the full appearance of the breast during these processes.

Patients are operated on by one of our surgeons who have several thousand breast operations. Most of our surgeons are professors at faculties. We can only tell you the exact name and surname of the surgeon who would operate on you once the appointment has been agreed upon and booked. 

The recommended age limit for this type of surgery is usually 18 years, as it is considered that the breasts are already fully developed at that age. There is no upper age limit, but it is important that the patients are healthy and do not have serious health problems.

Yes, patients can choose the desired implant size. The doctor will help you choose the size that is in accordance with your body proportions, wishes and physical capabilities, so that the result is as natural as possible.

Implants can be placed either below the muscle (submuscular) or above the muscle (supramuscular). Subcutaneous placement is more common because it provides a more natural look and there is less risk of complications. Superlative placement is usually used in certain cases, such as women who already have a lot of natural tissue.

It is recommended to avoid heavy physical activities and strenuous moments for at least 4-6 weeks after surgery. Light activities, such as brisk walking, may be allowed, but intense moments (such as weight lifting) should wait until you get the green light from your doctor.

Yes, some women report changes in breast or nipple sensitivity after surgery. This effect is usually temporary and sensitivity returns over time. However, in rare cases, permanent changes in sensitivity may occur.

Before the operation, the doctor will refer you to certain examinations (such as blood tests and mammography). You should also stop smoking a few weeks before surgery, avoid certain medications, and follow dietary and hydration guidelines.

In the first few months after surgery, it is recommended to wear special compression bras that help keep the implant in place. After this period, you can go back to wearing regular bras, but you should avoid underwire models that can put pressure on your breasts.
