Liposuction is a plastic surgery procedure designed to remove excess fat from specific areas, enhancing body contours and proportions. This intervention helps reshape areas resistant to diet and exercise, providing a more harmonious and defined appearance.
The most common areas for liposuction include the abdomen, hips, thighs, buttocks, upper arms, back, knees, and chin. It's important to note that liposuction is not a weight-loss solution; rather, it aims to sculpt the body by eliminating fat deposits that disrupt the silhouette's harmony.
At Royal Plastic Surgery, each patient receives careful and personalized attention. After consultations with an experienced surgeon, patients are recommended the most effective liposuction method based on their goals and needs. The procedure involves using a specialized cannula, which is inserted through small incisions in the skin to break down and vacuum away fat cells. Several techniques are available, including traditional liposuction, ultrasonic (VASER) liposuction, tumescent liposuction, and laser liposuction. The choice of method depends on the patient's specific requirements and condition.
Liposuction is usually performed under local or general anesthesia, depending on the treatment area and the extent of the procedure. The duration of the procedure can range from one hour to several hours.
Recovery after liposuction is generally quick, but wearing compression garments for several weeks is recommended to reduce swelling and achieve optimal results. Most patients can resume their daily activities within a few days, while final results become visible after a few months.
Liposuction should not be seen as a substitute for a healthy lifestyle; rather, it is a powerful tool for achieving the desired body shape. The best results are obtained when combined with proper nutrition and regular physical activity.
Our authorized and certified surgeons provide a personalized approach to each patient, ensuring natural results that refresh the appearance, with a high level of safety and comfort throughout the entire process.

Liposuction is usually not very painful because it is performed under local or general anesthesia, but discomfort, swelling and bruising may occur after the procedure. The pain is usually mild and can be controlled with analgesics.
The price includes: surgery, all laboratory analyzes and one night stay in the clinic. There are no additional or hidden costs.
Laboratory analyses, internal examination and EKG are done at our clinic, a few hours before the actual operation.
Patients are operated on by one of our surgeons with many years of experience and thousands of successfully performed operations. Most of our surgeons are professors at faculties. We can only tell you the exact name and surname of the surgeon who would operate on you once the appointment has been agreed upon and booked.
Liposuction is most often applied to areas such as the stomach, thighs, hips, buttocks, arms and chin. However, results may vary, and the surgeon will determine the best area for intervention based on your goals.
Liposuction is usually recommended for people over the age of 18. The procedure is suitable for a healthy adult who has a stable body weight, and the elderly population may also be a candidate, provided they are in good health.
Liposuction is not a weight loss method, but is designed to shape the body and remove localized fat deposits. It is recommended for people who have already reached a stable body weight, but want to improve the appearance of certain body parts.
The results of liposuction are permanent, provided that the patient maintains a stable body weight and a healthy lifestyle. However, weight gain can affect the results.
Patients are advised to stop taking certain medications, stop smoking and ensure a stable state of health before the intervention. The surgeon will give detailed instructions for the preparation.
Usually between 2 and 5 liters of fat is removed, but this depends on the patient's health and the surgeon's recommendations. There are restrictions to ensure patient safety.
Liposuction is not intended to remove excess skin. In some cases, skin tightening may be required as an additional procedure to achieve the best results.
Most patients can begin light exercises within 2 to 3 weeks, while vigorous activities should be delayed for at least 4 to 6 weeks, according to the surgeon's recommendations.
The first results are visible as soon as the swelling subsides, usually within a few weeks. The final results become clear after a few months.
Yes, liposuction is often combined with other procedures such as abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), facelift or breast surgery.
Liposuction does not resolve cellulite, which is caused by thickening of connective tissue, but it can improve the appearance of the skin in the treated areas. Other treatments such as endermology or radiofrequency are often recommended for cellulite.
Yes, it is possible to transfer fat from one region to another through the lipofilling procedure, where fat removed from one part of the body is injected into another, for example, the face or chest.
Recovery varies, but most patients can return to light activities in a few days to a week. Full recovery may take several weeks, during which it is important to follow the surgeon's instructions.
Complications include infection, swelling, changes in skin sensation, bruising, bumps or asymmetry. It is important to work with an experienced surgeon to minimize the risk.
Laser liposuction uses laser energy to break down fat cells before removing them, while traditional liposuction uses physical fat removal. A laser can help tighten the skin.
Yes, there are various non-invasive methods for fat reduction, such as cryolipolysis (fat freezing), radiofrequency, ultrasound body contouring and laser lipolysis. However, these methods usually produce less dramatic results compared to liposuction and may require more treatments. For more serious body shape changes, liposuction is still the most effective option.

Before the nose surgery, I had problems with a deviated septum, which made it difficult for me to breathe and affected my quality of life. After the procedure with exceptional experts in the field of aesthetic plastic surgery, I can finally say that I can breathe fully! In addition to solving my health problem, the professional team worked hard to make the aesthetic result perfect. My nose looks natural and beautiful, which was an added bonus to the health I have gained. During the entire process, from the initial consultation to post-operative care, I was in the hands of attentive, professional and caring doctors. Thanks to the dedication and expertise of the team, my recovery went smoothly, with constant support and clear instructions about what lay ahead. Thanks again for the top result and professionalism! I highly recommend it to anyone considering this type of procedure.

I spent a long time looking for the right place to have my nose operated on. I underwent septorhinoplasty and had excellent communication with the clinic when arranging the surgery. If you are afraid, that is normal, but with this review I want to dispel some misconceptions. It doesn't hurt! I wish I had done it sooner! The entire process, from the initial arrangements and consultations to the surgery itself and postoperative check-ups, went perfectly. The surgeon who operated on me is an outstanding specialist who inspires great confidence. I am waiting for the swelling to subside to see the final result, but the change is already visible. I would especially like to highlight the kindness and dedication of the entire staff, who were always there to answer all my questions. If you are planning to have nose surgery in Belgrade, this is definitely the right place. The most expensive option is not always the best. 🍏
