FAQ

Upper arm liposuction is a surgical procedure used to remove excess fat from the outside or inside of the upper arm. The goal is to shape and improve the contours of the hands, which achieves a thinner and more uniform appearance.

Ideal candidates for this procedure are people who are in good general health, with a stable body weight and small to moderate amounts of fat on the upper arms. Liposuction is not a substitute for slimming and is not suitable for people who are overweight or have skin problems (eg loose skin).

During the procedure, local anesthesia or sedation is used, so the patient will not feel pain. After the procedure, you may experience mild pain, swelling and bruising, but this is usually temporary and can be controlled with pain medication.

The price includes: surgery, all laboratory analyzes and one night stay in the clinic. There are no additional or hidden costs.

Liposuction of the upper arm can significantly improve the contours of the arms, remove unwanted fat deposits and make the arms slimmer. Results are usually long-term, provided the person maintains a stable body weight.

Laboratory analyses, internal examination and EKG are done at our clinic, a few hours before the actual operation.

Patients are operated on by one of our surgeons who have several thousand breast operations. Most of our surgeons are professors at faculties. We can only tell you the exact name and surname of the surgeon who would operate on you once the appointment has been agreed upon and reserved.

The results of liposuction are permanent because the removed fat does not return. However, if a person does not lead a healthy lifestyle (improper diet, lack of physical activity), new deposits of fat can be created in other parts of the body.

If a person has elastic skin, there will probably be no sagging. However, in older people or those with a lower degree of skin elasticity, there is a risk of sagging. In some cases, additional procedures, such as skin lifting, may be necessary.

Although liposuction leaves small scars, they are usually minimal and hidden in places that are less visible, such as the natural folds of the skin. Scars usually fade over time.

Liposuction is more effective for removing larger fat deposits and permanent body shape, while other methods, such as non-invasive treatments (cavitation, radiofrequency), can be effective for smaller amounts of fat, but not as much permanent. The choice of method depends on the specific goals of the patient.

Before the operation, the doctor will provide you with all the necessary information, including advice on stopping certain medications (such as aspirin or anticoagulants) and stopping smoking. It is also recommended that you stay hydrated and commit to a healthy diet before surgery.

Usually local anesthesia is used with sedation, šthis means you will be relaxedšbut awake during the procedure. In some cases, if more fat removal is required, general anesthesia can be used.

There is no strictly defined age limit, but it is recommended that applicants be adults (usually 18+). People over the age of 50 may have reduced skin elasticity, so it is necessary to pay attention to the condition of the skin before surgery.

If you have good skin tone, the skin will naturally tighten and shape after fat removal. However, people with weaker skin elasticity may experience skin loosening, which sometimes requires additional procedures.

Liposuction usually does not affect the lymphatic system, because the procedure is performed in such a way as not to disturb the function of the lymph nodes. However, it is important that the procedure is performed by an experienced surgeon.

If the procedure is not performed correctly, unevenness in the skin, excess fat removed or scars may occur. This is the reason why choosing an experienced surgeon is key to achieving the desired results.

The procedure itself usually lasts between 1 and 2 hours, depending on the scope of the operation and the number of treated areas.

Upper arm liposuction is suitable for both groups, but the surgeon must take into account specific physical differences, such as typical fat distribution and natural body contours, in order to achieve the best result for every patient.

Yes, liposuction can be done on both arms at the same time, but the surgeon will take into account all safety aspects and the type of anesthesia. The procedure may take longer, and the recovery may be more demanding than if only one arm is done.
