Intermittent pain in the left breast after surgery
Question asked: - 10. 12. 2023
I had a breast augmentation in 2018 and followed the instructions for recovery, but I have had intermittent pain in my lower left breast for years. Even though the surgeon told me it was normal, the pain is still there. Due to the move, I can't visit my surgeon, so I'm wondering if there is anything to worry about and if I can come for a consultation with you?

Thank you š for reaching out with your question. I understand your concern about the pain you are experiencing in the lower left breast, and I am sorry š it still bothers you. Although it is common for there to be occasional pain after breast augmentation surgery, pain lasting more than a year, as well as a specific feeling of pain, deserve attention.
I recommend that you contact control so that we can review the situation in detail. There is a possibility that pain occurs due to various reasons, such as implant displacement, fibrosis, or other changes in the breast tissue. Although not necessarily serious, it is always best to have an examination to rule out any complications.
If you are unable to come in person, please feel free to contact us to arrange a further procedure or consultation by mail.
