I am healthy and thinking about liposuction, but I am wondering what is the best time of year for this intervention? I'm worried that it could cause problems if I do the surgery at the wrong time.

Liposuction can be done all year round, but many patients choose spring or autumn as the optimal season. The reason is that during those months it is not too hot, which can facilitate recovery, as you will be less prone to sweating and the discomforts associated with hot weather. Also, during the colder months, you can more easily wear compression stockings, which are mandatory after surgery. It is important that there is nothing that would particularly interfere with summer surgery, but it is definitely recommended that you plan for recovery time, especially if you have vacations or other activities in mind.
